“ Solid 4.5 stars! We wanted to see for ourselves after reading the great reviews and Sushi Koshi did not disappoint. We were lucky to get a reservation. The restaurant is buzzing, small and charming. Our table started with the Avocado fries and gyoza. Very good. And we ordered a bunch of special rolls: tuna and salmon dragon, volcano, sushi koshi, lava and Grand Canyon rolls. All delicious and fresh. Great plating and presentation. Definitely worth checking out. ”

“ Been here a few times because we really enjoy the sushi here and tranquil decor! The times we've gone we also have never had to wait too long for a table even though it always seems pretty busy. I did recently order the yakisoba just to try it and it was good but feel like it could have been saucier. Planning to come back and try some of their other dishes as well but the sushi is for sure delicious! ”

“ Continuing on my local sushi tour we find Sushi Koshi. It was delivery this time, but will stop in to check out their sit-down next time. To start we ordered Gyoza (3/5), these were cold for some reason while the complimentary miso soup was warm/hot. The pork filling was good enough. The Tuna Tataki (5/5) and Shashimi (4/5) were both very good and fresh as can be. For our sushi rolls we got the JJ Roll (5/5) and the Blooming Roll (4/5). Both were excellent, but the JJ Roll was our favorite. The Crab, fried shrimp, cream cheese, etc... were the perfect match of flavors for so much going on. The Blooming had ample amount of tuna, white fish, and tuna on top--something was missing though. They threw in a a free roll which I thought was great for a first experience with them. They never mentioned what the roll was, but it was great. This place was consistent compared to our last sushi experience in the area. Will try again. ”

“ Came here for a weekday dinner and was seated right away. It's definitely a small restaurant, looks like seats about 20-25 people indoors, but they do have a few tables outdoors as well. I love a sushi menu with photos, since it's hard to imagine and it's just easier when you can see it visually and see how the ingredients are done for the rolls. Sushi tasted fresh, though food took longer than expected around 15-20 minutes. Price was fair and expected for the area. Staff was friendly and food was good! The only real downside was that there were flies flying around every few minutes so that was a bit annoying, so maybe would opt to come here again and try sitting outside to avoid this issue. ”

“ Came here for lunch. The sushi lunch special had really fresh fish and rolls. I'm not usually a fan of California Rolls, but these had a punch flavor in a good way. The salad and miso soup that came with it were also good, but nothing notable. I also sampled some of the chicken teriyaki lunch bento. You get a lot of food with it, including edamame, miso soup, salad, gyoza, and the teriyaki. The gyoza were really crisp and tasted freshly made, and the teriyaki was perfectly cooked--better than what I've had in Seattle where it's really popular. I also noticed that they also have stuff like beef bulgogi in a stone bowl, poke bowls, and chicken katsu. I'm going to have to try those next time. ”

“ Really enjoyed our dinner here! I love the fact that they had outdoor seating so that was a huge plus! The staff is very friendly and service was great! We got a variety of rolls and sashimi. Everything was so fresh and delicious! It is a byob restaurant and there is a liquor store next door! ”

“ I love this sushi spot. Very cozy with phenomenal service. The sushi options are plenty and the best part is that they are BYOB. The space is quite small but they make it work. They take no reservation but the waiting time is not much. ”

“ Such a great spot. I remember looking for a Japanese restaurant to go with my kids as a family. We found this one and we have never looked or been to another spot. They absolutely love it. The place is fairly small but it does have seating , I guess maybe reserve if you have a party of 6 or more. The kids and I love the food. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. It's really nice family spot or a date night spot. The food is always fresh and delicious! Highly recommend! ”
